- Since January 2017, Shore-Bayy Hospitalists group has significantly contributed to care quality improvement and cost reduction initiatives for Shore Regional Health System.
- Our contributions are perhaps best reflected in the fact that, ever since we took over the hospitalist program at SRH, our three facilities have taken the lead across University of Maryland System in key performance metrics such as Readmission Reduction Incentive Program (RRIP).
- In addition, we have made valuable contributions to improving the overall patient experience (HCAHPS), reducing LOS, and lowering patient harm index and inpatient mortality rates. (Numbers will be added later)
- We recognize the ever-increasing pressure on healthcare facilities to reduce cost of care and optimize quality. Our role is to drive and support the shift towards value-based care while remaining committed to our patients and achieving the best possible clinical outcomes for them.
- We have proved to be successful in achieving the intricate balance between quality care and cost reduction and we were able to maintain good outcomes for both our patients and our healthcare facilities for the past several years.
